Depending on the cargo and shipment requirements, the packaging may include heavy-duty wooden bases, crates or plywood boxes, moisture-barrier protection, VCI or vacuum packaging, desiccants, HDPE/LDPE lining, lashing and internal chocking. Where regulated solid-wood components are used, heat-treated and appropriately marked timber can be provided in accordance with applicable ISPM 15 requirements.
